Hello there,
I've been in the world of beauty and wellness since 1999, starting as a Cosmetologist and expanding my skills to become an Esthetician in 2017. My journey began at Neosho Beauty College in Neosho, Missouri, where I proudly graduated twice. During my Cosmetology training, I had the privilege of learning from instructors like Erma Hill and Kim Keith 'Wilson,' who left a lasting impression on me.
Erma, in particular, was known for her strict but valuable guidance. She instilled a strong sense of ethics in every student and emphasized that the beauty industry would reward us based on our dedication and effort.
Over the years, I've successfully managed Smartstyle salons in Neosho and Webb City, totaling four years of experience. I also spent a year as a stylist and Esthetician at JC Penney's in Joplin, Missouri, right after completing my esthetic training. Additionally, I've had the pleasure of being an owner-operator of my own salon.
What I love most about this career is the opportunity to connect with people and boost their self-esteem. While it can be high-pressure at times, the rewards are truly fulfilling. Some of my favorite services to offer include perms, colors, men's haircuts, as well as indulging clients with relaxing massages and precise waxing.
I'm excited about the future and anticipate many more wonderful years in the beauty industry, particularly with Absolute Beauty Concepts.
A proud native of Benton County, Arkansas, is embarking on an exciting new chapter in September 2023 at the age of 62.
